Who We Are
We are an intergenerational, Tier One, evidence-based literacy program designed to help students become proficient readers by the end of third grade. Using Reading A-Z level books our highly trained volunteers work with students on building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills in a 1-on-1 session at least four hours a week for the entire school year.
What We Do
The Achieve Pinal Experience Corps (APEC) reading program with the invaluable help of volunteers aged 50+ serves second and third grade students in elementary school districts all across Pinal County.
