Who We Are

CASA of Pinal County is a volunteer program within the Pinal County Superior Court and the Arizona Supreme Court. We are part of the National CASA/GAL organization and CASA of Arizona. CASA started in Pinal County on January 9th, 1989 and has been fiercely advocating for the foster children of Pinal County ever since. CASA's mission is to help each child find a safe and permanent home. We do that by establishing a relationship with our CASA child and advocating for their needs in court.

What We Do

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocate. Our volunteers are appointed by a judge of the Pinal County Superior Court to be the "eyes and ears" of the court and to advocate for the best interests and needs of a child who is in foster care. CASAs give a child a voice in court, remain by their side as a close supportive adult during their journey through the child welfare system, and advocate for a safe and permanent home.
